Was lied to and mislead

I am not their customer but my nephew is and we all share a plan . I am only authorized to have my phone worked on or upgrade but not to add anything or change his plan.

My phone wouldn't charge so I took it to what I thought was a main store and the sales rep told me if I traded my phone in that day I would get $160.00 in merchandise and their plan would go down if they signed up for auto pay . I said ok as long as he isn't changing anything o the plan they have now because I am not authorized to do anything like that. He assured me the only thing that would change is if they signed up doe auto pay so we proceeded. He then told me since my old iPhone 8+ was in such good shape he would give me a $150.00 in merchandise which I did and I ended up paying about 130.00 in all to pay off my old phone and taxes.

I asked for a copy of the form I signed that he told me was for trading my phone in was all and it would be emailed to the main customer( My nephew), I called my niece the next morning to tell her about the auto pay deal, and she checked, and he did in fact change their plan and took off her hot spot. I called him and told him, and he said he explained everything to me and I told him no he did not and I plainly told him I did not have authorization to make any changes to their plan he said I do to I am authorized I advised no I have limited authorization. He said there is no note on the account as to that but it's a funny thing the last 2 times I have gotten a new phone or done anything they have had to call my nephew to get his approval.

I told him I will bring everything back as nothing ha been opened except what he opened while I was in the store and he can just give me my old phone back and put their plan back the way it was, and he refused said once I traded my phone in he couldn't give it back to me, so I am sure either he or his girlfriend now has my like new iPhone 8. I asked to talk to the store manager, and he refused to let me and said he would give him a message to call me which he never did.

Preferred solution: My nephews plan put back as it was before the rep changed it and I will either keep my new phone and products or return them and get my old phone back that did not have the issue that I took it in for.

User's recommendation: Do not deal with Travis at the main store on Kingston Pike in Knoxville, TN he will flat out lie to you to get you to do what he wants.

Rude salesman

A salesman Ignacio delatorre in the muscatine store was rude once to me and once to my grandmother and then thanksgiving day weekend asked me while I was in the store to go sleep with him. I was a customer at the time I’m not anymore because you did nothing about it

Not explaining instructions on biiling

I recently left Verizon for acting rude and incompetent. I went to US Cellular Sunset Ave, Rocky Mount NC. CJ treated me fine, but he did not inform me on prepaid that I would not get a bill. I received an email telling my bill was due 5/21. You received payment on 5/19 from my PNC online account and cut my service off on 5/21. The amt. was 75.38. When I called you told me the payment was being sent back as US Cellular did not accept payment that way and I would have to use my Credit Card along with other ways. PNC said they had never heard of a company as large as US Cellular doing such a thing. I was with Verizon twenty years and paid through PNC online and got a paper statement. Never late paying much less having my phone cut off . My Credit rating is probably better than US Cellulars at 825. If all this had been explained to me when I was moving my service, I would not be as mad as I am now. This in the end will cost you way more than 75.38 with new subscriptions as I tell all my friends. The whole thing is your associates don't inform customers of your stupid policy of not accepting online payments. I see where you did accept payment and was told you were sending it back. I have not seen where it has been credited back.

I haven't been able to use my phone SINCE February I have no service no signal iv bought 3 phone's $1500.00 and paid my bill every month this is unethical and unprofessional way to do business they have only offered a $75 dollars credit well that DOESN'T HELP I NEED NY PHONE TO WORK I do all business with my phone bills Dr appointment.... They dont offer current customers new customer deals and they make u get a new plan if u are able to upgrade I've ben a customer for 13 plus years so I'm grandfathered in with my old plan even if they give a phone away for free it would cost me more because they make u get a new plan ***

Cancelled US Cellular pre-paid account on October 31,2019, and transferred my number to new company. At that time I was told I was due a refund of $11.60 (give or take a few cents). Checked bank account a couple of times, no refund. So today, 1/17/20, I called customer service, and was told the refund had expired. What?? A refund that is legally mine has expired?? Since my payments were made automatically, US Cellular had my banking information to make the refund. This makes absolutely no sense to me, and I'm not going to let this go. Okay, so it's only $11.00, but it's not theirs, it's mine.

I had been paying ahead of time for my phone. I had a situation with my phone and went into US Cellular to get another. I got a real raring to go sales girl (commission,commission, commission!!!) I left there with all these chargers, protective items, several chargers. No more paying $45.00 or $55.00 ahead! My bills were out of my budget! I felt like an old fool! I'm a senior citizen on disability. I make $957.00 per month. In December, they took $192.00 out of my account!! Unauthorized!! It was a domino effect of financial ruin! And a $30.00 overdraft fees! I called and talked to several people. I was promised it would be back in my account December 27th. I called the 26th to confirm...long wait...knew it was bad. Sure enough! No they were not going to reimburse me. I went back and forth with so many employees!! I filed a dispute with my bank. They put it back in and THEY are now dealing with US Cellular!!!Happy

I've had a phone with us cellular for at least 15 years I broke my phone they told me the phone I bought wasn't combatible with them so I bought another same story said wrong Sims card so what I say is I pay you 58 dollars a monthif y'all can't offer a phone to a loyal customer I'll gladly go to another company they will be more than happy to take 116.00 a month for my two phones
